Traditional Shower and Tub Enclosures
Cape & Islands Glass is known for the best frameless showers, but we also have a large selection of quality traditional shower doors and bathtub enclosures.
There are two designs.
"Framed" enclosures are the traditional style where all of the glass panels and doors are entirely framed in metal.
"Semi-Frameless" units have less metal framing, but the main difference is that the doors do not have a metal frame around them. Semi-Frameless bypass or sliding doors are quite stunning and yet very affordable. Semi-Frameless bypass sliding doors are also available in 3/8" thick heavy glass. These are very popular here on the Cape because they are half the price of a 3/8" Frameless door and panel, and they also work great in the small bathrooms on the Cape where you don't have room for a swinging door.
We sell and install Century™ brand Lucette (Framed) and Centec (Semi-Frameless) shower and tub enclosures. These are available in a selection of hardware finishes and glass patterns.
